Lacey lives in Toronto. Upon completing her studies in the Performing Arts, she joined experimental theatre company the Kadožüké Kollektif (under the direction of Tatiana Jennings) where she worked simultaneously as actor, designer and creator over the course of a decade. During this time she was encouraged to develop her eye for composition, thus pursuing a mentorship with master printer Dimitri Levonoff (Imagefoundry). Alongside Levanoff, Lacey gained a unique understanding and appreciation of photography, imaging, retouching, colour correction, scanning and printing.
As both actor and photographer, it only felt natural to gravitate towards the art of the headshot.
Although having a focus on actors, it is Lacey’s joy to work with creatives of all diversity and backgrounds. Lacey continues to be endlessly inspired by the many faces of the Arts.
Clients include many of Toronto's top actors, dancers, artists and theatre companies such as: Theatre Smith-Gilmour, Bad New Days, WhyNot Theatre, Theatre Columbus, Ahuri Theatre, The Kadozuke Kollektif and ZOU Theatre.
Lacey's work has been published in The National Post, The Globe and Mail, Now Magazine, The Dance Current, The Grid, TTC billboards, numerous art blogs and books.
